If it I had my way, I wouldn't have picked a 4 1/2 hour flight leaving at 4:50 in the afternoon. Not the best plan when traveling with a toddler and a baby but we took what we could get. Sky Service was the only airline that flew with out tour operator (more about that in a later post)By the time we got through security and all that jazz we really didn't have to wait all that long.
Declan and Adam took a couple walks around and I hung out with Scarlet near our gate.Declan go to the see our plane taxi into the gate. He was pretty excited about it all...this was his second trip on an airplane but I don't think he really remembers the first time.
Take off was fine but once we were in the air Declan wanted to sit on Adam's lap the whole time. Scarlet felt like sleeping so we moved her into Declan's car/plane seat so I could have some freedom.
We didn't get to the resort until 10:30pm and at this point Declan had had ZERO sleep in 14 hours (he still naps, normally). He was in great spirits considering and well Scarlet, she was just along for the ride.
This was the room we stayed in for the first 4 nights. It was nice but the bed was so hard!
