Day 4 - Weekly photo

I saw a really cute idea a few months ago. A mother took daily photos of her child for the first year and then at her first birthday she put them all together in a slide show to show her child's growth. I thought it was a fantastic idea but not so realistic for me.

I decided to take weekly photos of Scarlet for her first year. I've been keeping up and doing a pretty good job (she's only 9 weeks).....LOL Today was the day to take another photo. I've been using a Bumbo chair (it used to be Declan's) as it's the only thing I could think of that she would fit into for a whole year to show her growth.

While I was taking Scarlet's photo, Declan came over and asked if it was his turn. I couldn't say no so, here's his weekly shot as well as Scarlet's!

Day 3 - I leave for 6 hours and..............

Last night I went with my mom and a friend to see Fiddler on the Roof in Toronto.

Before I left I made sure to pull and thaw a couple bags of milk for Adam to feed Scarlet. I was being thoughtful and trying to make his night alone with the kids a little easier.

I knew he could handle it but I checked-in with him during intermission just to be sure. "Everything was going great", he said

We had a great night and the musical was fantastic. We didn't get home until about 11:30pm and this is what was waiting for me when I went downstairs to pump before I hit the sack.

Apparently they had a great night. Daddy didn't even make Declan clean up before bed!

I didn't forget

I just realized that I didn't post a photo for today. I did take a few but I need to hit the sack so I'll have to post it tomorrow. Slacking already!!

Day 2

I think a lot of you might agree with me that words across the butt of an adult female is obscene. Who wants to see SEXY in giant letters on a bum, it never looks good no matter how fit the person is.

I've had this conversation with many friends over the years and one of them bought a leisure suit for Scarlet in a soft pink fabric with....wait for it.....words across the bum! We laughed about it remembering our conversation a few years earlier

It doesn't work for adults but it sure works for babies! Her tush looks so freakin' cute with BABY written across it.

Day 1 -Tree

That's right...........I still have my Christmas tree up. I spent way too much time decorating that sucker and we're all going to appreciate it for just a little bit longer. No really, I'm just too lazy to take it down. Adam still hasn't brought up the boxes from the basement and I will NEVER go into that horrible spider home called a crawl space to get them out.

Bask in its glory for one more day!

365 Photo Challenge

So, I've noticed a ton of people starting these 365 photos blogs and I thought, I could do that. It's not like I don't take a million photos of my children every month. This should be easy!

I might add other stuff as well if I feel the need, who really knows? I'll have to figure out how all of this blog stuff works first.
